The micrometer's frame boasts a baked enamel finish, providing protection and durability. The vernier scale on the thimble and sleeve is graduated to 0.001 inches and features a satin chrome finish, which helps resist rust and reduce glare.

The spindle and anvil of this micrometer have flat measuring faces and are tipped with carbide, making them highly resistant to wear and tear. To further enhance the precision of measurements, the device is equipped with a spindle lock that secures the measurement position.
